From her ramshackle home office in Southern California, Patricia Neumann writes copy and content for a wide range of clients and creative endeavors. After earning her BA in Writing from Emerson and her MFA in Creative Writing from Chapman, she set out to prove to her parents that it is indeed possible to make a living with an English degree. Building her creative chops at an ad agency, Patricia left the confines of the cubicle to become a freelance copywriter and creative professional — working on ad campaigns, websites, digital, print, and broadcasts for brands ranging from Jaguar to the LA Clippers to Sony to El Pollo Loco to Make a Wish Foundation, to name-drop a few. She particularly enjoys working for small businesses and non-profit organizations. She’s honored to have won a few awards from LA Belding, How Magazine, and the Orange County Ad Club. Through her virtual agency, Copy & Design, Patricia collaborates with a multi-disciplinary team of independent creative professionals (all humans). As a personal outlet, she enjoys writing short stories, some of which have been published in various literary magazines. She enjoys reading, watching TV shows about zombies,  playing backyard badminton, and hiking with her husband, two teenage children, and geriatric dog, Hugo.
